About This Role

We are seeking a driven Industrial Automation Engineer to work on multiple projects across the world (remote and on-site). Field experience in instrumentation and commissioning is desired but not required, as this is a junior opportunity with great learning potential in standards used across the globe.

The role goes across all things necessary to ensure successful industrial automation implementations, from good communication skills to understand client requirements, clear documentation capabilities, adapting to client’s standards for coding, on-site IO Checking, commissioning, and follow-up support.

This position is a great fit for a proactive individual who is looking to expand their horizons, get familiar with international industry standards, and have flexibility in their schedule but also be ok with on-site work abroad.

Responsibilities:

• Development of efficient and standardized bespoken automation solutions, including but not limited to PLC, DCS, and SCADA solutions.
• Solutions documentation (English and Spanish)
• Simulation presentations as required by clients
• On-site instrument integrations and IO Checking
• On-site Software Commissioning
• Post-commissioning support

Requirements:

• English level B2 and above (required)
• Electrical Engineering, PLC Programming technical degree or similar
• Multiple tool experience (desired)

• Multiple communication protocol knowledge, such as:
  • TCP/IP
  • HART
  • Modbus
  • IEC61850
  • ControlNet
  • CIP Message
• Instrumentation Background
• Availability to travel to site (weeks, in some occasions months)
• Available to transit through the USA (B1/B2 visa) (desired)
